Την υποστήριξη handwriting σε πάνω από 50 γλώσσες στο Gmail και πάνω από 20 στο Google Docs (και στα Ελληνικά), ανακοίνωσε η Google δίνοντας την δυνατότητα εισαγωγής λέξεων με χρήση του ποντικιού ή του trackpad.
Για να ενεργοποιηθεί η υποστήριξη χειρόγραφου κειμένου θα πρέπει να ακολουθηθούν τα παρακάτω βήματα....
  1. Click the gear icon in the top right.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. In the General tab, select the checkbox next to “Enable input tools” under the “Language” section. If you don’t see option, click on the Show advanced options link next to the “Display Language” menu.
  4. In the “Input Tools settings” window that appears, double-click the input tool you’d like from the “All input tools” field, and it’ll move to the “Selected input tools” field. You can also select the input tool and use the grey arrows to move them between the two fields. Reorder your input tools by selecting any input tool and clicking the up and down arrows.
  5. Click Ok, then Save Changes at the bottom of the settings page.


Και πλέον από το εικονίδιο με το μολύβι γίνεται η επιλογή της γλώσσας που θα χρησιμοποιήσουμε για χειρόγραφη εισαγωγή κειμένου.
